The months are flying by and here we are again deliberating over this month’s winner. We had many to choose from again with differing attributes from determination, natural ability, durability and our favourite, personality (with good diving of course).
Our runners up this month goes not to just one person but to a group of friends that brought fun and laughter to everyone they came in contact with and also did ten days of serious diving with Boat, Drift and Deep speciality courses and a dive trip to Dahab during their diving holiday in Sharm El Sheikh.
As you can see in the picture, they lacked some dental treatment in their younger days or are they all from the same village!!?
This month’s winner goes to a lady who showed determination, perseverance and durability by overcoming the skills she found hard.
She showed immense determination to pass her open water course. She had attempted the course last January and succeeded to reach SCUBA diver. She admitted she had difficulty in mastering her buoyancy control but wasn’t giving up. She came to Elite Diving after meeting us in The London Dive Show in March and decided it sounded like the type of service that would suit her needs and she would benefit from.
She had no problem with the safety skills and with a bit more emphasis and practice on the buoyancy skills, she finally got to grips with it. She also benefited from taking a private guide, but everything soon clicked into place and she put everything she learned into practice while diving on the SS. Dunraven. A far cry from her first steps of her diving path last January.
Well done Theresa Foord. Elite Diving's diver of the month of May.
